I had the weirdest thing happen to me the last night while walking to the bus stop at midnight. Just as I left the office, this cat came out of nowhere and started walking right beside me -- all the WAY to Don Mills (four big blocks)
If I moved to the right - he moved to the right....
He followed my every move....
I couldn't lose him! I felt so bad for the little guy - I think he was lost and looking for any human to lead him home. I finally had to be mean and hiss and stomp my foot as I didn't want it going across Don Mills (a MAJOR road) with me... So then he gave me the saddest big-eyed look as we parted ways (the kind you normally see in velvet paintings) and he sat on the opposite side of the road and cried mournfully until my bus came... :(
