My art will soon be featured at a gallery in Montreal. When I found out I am embarrassed to say I did start sobbing joyfully!
I'm so excited. This could be the start of something real - something that doesn't involve staring at Peter Mansbridge's mug each night and watching the world blow up real good every day....

Unfortunately, I cannot further your career, as I am a lowly philosopher. However, I did want to compliment your work. I find it quite aesthetically pleasing.

You may have furthered my career merely with your praise - think about it - You're a philosopher. You analyze things from different angles. Your promotion means that after much thought - you found my work visually appealing... NO suck factor! I'm thrilled with the compliment!
