I sent the following to the CBC today. I wonder if they'll care.
I would ask that the cbc consider refraining from referring to Robert Pickton as Robert William Pickton. When else does the media do this? It lends a certain infamy to someone who certainly doesn't deserve more of our attention. Please call him Robert Pickton. I don't know the middle name of PM Stephen Harper, or NHL player Sidney Crosby. Why should I know Pickton's?

Maybe they're saying his full name like our parents did to let us know we were REALLY in a lot of trouble. Like Robert William Pickton you get over here! WHAT have you DONE!?
